NANOS are options traded on the US market, with SPY (an ETF based on the S&P 500 index) as the underlying asset. In the Tradernet trading system, these options have tickers starting with +NANOS (for example, +NANOS.19APR2024.C485). The option allows earning income from the movement of the S&P 500 index without purchasing the stocks included in it.
A nano option is 1/100 the size of traditional options, consequently, its price is lower. With the current stock prices of the S&P 500 index, the estimated cost of a NANOS option ranges from $3 to $7.
